Case 6: Chin Implant (Augmentation Genioplasty)

This 27 year-old patient had a very small, receded chin. She has already undergone oral surgery of the jaw and orthodontic treatment, but still has a very retrusive chin and was referred to Minneapolis Plastic Surgery by her oral surgeon for augmentation genioplasty. She underwent chin implant surgery as an outpatient procedure in our AAAASF-accredited in-office surgical facility. She had a solid silicone extended anatomic mandibular glove implant (size XL) placed via a submental incision.
