DR. RICHARD THOLEN: Thanks for visiting our website. I'm Dr. Richard Tholen, senior partner and co-owner of Minneapolis Plastic Surgery, the premier cosmetic surgery practice in Minneapolis and the Upper Midwest. I truly believe that Minneapolis Plastic Surgery is the best place for you to have your cosmetic surgery, not because I just say so, but because the anesthesia, nursing and office staffs that work with me are the most caring, compassionate and highly-experienced individuals in each of their respective areas.

My own background began with math and physics degrees followed by my medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Following this, I spent seven years of surgical training and plastic surgical training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. After 20 years of experience here at Minneapolis Plastic Surgery, I still enjoy coming to work each day and I truly love the challenge of trying to find innovative and better answers to patients' cosmetic surgery concerns.

But I don't do this myself and you deserve the best, from initial consultation to recovery room and beyond. I insist on this, and so does my wife, who happens to be the most caring and wonderful recovery room nurse you'll ever meet in the entire world. Our reputations depend on this.
